Wow! Please enter me! I have only recently discovered Story of the World and I love it. I have book 4, but I want to own all of them to be ready for when my youngest son is ready to start.
ReplyDeleteI would say we are more of an electic homeschool. I try to find a good curriculum that fits the style of my children. I tend to pick and choose for each of them.

we are eclectic and I have some friends that use these and say they are awesome! kbalman@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'd love to begin using this next year with my son! Thanks! hmvaughan @ comcast.net
ReplyDeleteOooo, girl!! Count me in on this one!!!!
ReplyDeleteJolanthe
This is a good one! My son is in preschool so I'm still a bit undecided, but I think I'm leaning towards eclectic with classical foundations. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeletewe are still figuring out where our ideals fall... I think a classical approach with some Charlotte Mason. I am wavering between Story of the World and Mystery of History. Would love to own this! colleen.wachob@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThese books are on my wish list so when I saw your post on facebook I was excited! I actually have a library copy at home right now. I'm more classical than eclectic but a bit of both.
ReplyDeleteI just followed your blog but I already read it from time to time anyway. Now I'm official!
Thanks! Ellen wjpc1 at msn.com
Love Story of THe World and don't have the Activity Book for Book 1. I already follow you. :) Thanks!!

I have a classical approach for the most part, but I am starting to relax and enjoy it more this year. I am very curious about this book. cwitherstine at zoominternet dot net
ReplyDeletewe are eclectic, these books were highly recommended by the woman who does my daughter's Homeschool evaluation every year. I have drooled, lol!
ReplyDeletesparklythingsandfairywings at gmail dot com
I'm not completely classical, but I think I may be more that way as my kids grow older. And I have been drooling over them for a while.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

I am planning on a more classical approach...but my daughter may have a different idea. But I would love to use these books I have heard so much about them!

This is my second year homeschooling part time using the classical method. My older two are enrolled in a Christian preschool while I play with the two babies. :) I've been interested in Bauer's materials for sometime. This would compliment nicely with our Classical Conversations materials when we return to Cycle 1.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Katherine

We use a eclectic approach, but we lean towards Charlotte Mason. I would love to try this book since I have heard a lot about them.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! A friend who joined classical conversations just introduced me to this series this week!! I am super interested to learn more, as we are already a mostly classical family...with the addition of Montessori type activities for my younger and/or more hands on children.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer!

I'm eclectic. I use textbooks as a base but supplement very heavily with classical texts (more daughter is an avid reader). This is something I have been interested in for a while now, but haven't found a way to fit into our budget yet. Thanks for the chance!

I have been looking at this one, but didn't realize it was such a great part of homeschool before we ordered our curriculum for this year, so it has to wait until next year unless I win it! We are pretty eclectic. Thanks!
